Recovery Enrichment

The Recovery Enrichment Program is a five day intensive outpatient program designed for those individuals who are sober and want to enrich their recovery. It is a synthesis of Tom and Ann’s 27 years of experience and training in addressing such issues. Together they bring a unique blend of insight, skill, humor and passion to their work which has a lasting impact on the lives they touch. Tom and Ann are also now providing an Internet based system to support individuals and couples and provide information updates.

  • Do you ever find yourself asking, “Isn’t there more to sobriety than this?”
  • Do you continue to have trouble in relationship?
  • Do you sometimes lack the ability to make decisions?
  • Do you fluctuate between uncontrollable anger and desperately trying to please other
  • people?
  • Do you still engage in compulsive behaviors around issues like sex, money or food?
  • Do you wonder why joy has eluded you?

Sooner or later the underlying issues that drew you into your addiction will reappear as you stay sober. These self destructive patterns will continue to interfere in your life and threaten your sobriety.

Some of the benefits participants will experience:

  • Learn to identify unconscious survival rules that lead to self destructive behavior
  • patterns.
  • Develop specific solutions to change behaviors that no longer work for you.
  • Replace fear and isolation with compassion and joy.
  • Learn to recognize dry relapse patterns early enough to have choice.

The workshop format will include some education about the phases of addiction and recovery along with group discussions and group therapy. These group sessions will allow participants to process emotions and practice new awareness skills. Each participant will become clear about what specific issues and patterns have kept you from fully enjoying a sober life. There will be written work and all will leave with a specific personalized action plan for change.
